Google informs me that this is called a
bento
, or lunch box. I purchased this inexpensive Tupperware knockoff for its intended use and it works great, which means that it's totally unremarkable. It gets a mention here however for the gloriously arrogant little sticker on top which reads "My Favoritetableware Lunch Box Since 2002." I bought it in 2004. Two years, huh? Impressive. Did you stop looking, or are you just waiting for this one to wear out, or what?
Final verdict:
Not my favoritetableware, but certainly functional.
